EARLIEST RETURN DATES
TEACHERS ~ FRIDAY, SEPT. 22
STUDENTS ~ MONDAY, SEPT. 25
We hope you continue making progress toward returning to normal routines. We have been working diligently to ready our schools for our students and employees. I am excited to inform you that all 54 Collier County Public Schools sites have power as of 11:45am today!
Students will return to school on Monday, September 25th, with all teachers returning to school sites on Friday, September 22nd.
Free breakfast and lunch will be available to ALL students through October 20, 2017. Existing lunch account balances will not be charged.
A revised 2017-2018 Academic Calendar will be presented for Board approval at the Regular School Board Meeting on Tuesday, September 26th. Please stay tuned for rescheduled dates for school-based Curriculum Nights, District College Night, and financial aid events for seniors. As a reminder for high school seniors, consider taking the time to prepare for college applications and the upcoming Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opening on October 1, 2017. The first step is to set up an FSA ID by clicking here.
In the 10 days since the storm passed, teams of custodians and outside contractors cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized all schools. Schools and classrooms will be clean and ready for students to return.
We are #CCPSStrong and look forward to getting Back to the Classroom Together as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. Please be safe and continue to follow our communication channels for future updates. Click here for additional Staff Information.
