  • Are you new to the United States? We offer a wide range of language learning opportunities and some of our classes include translators.
  • Are you currently a high school student? Not only do we offer Running Start, we also have an on-site high school, the Lake Washington Technical Academy. You can finish high school and learn a trade!
  • Have you just graduated from high school and not quite ready for the pressure of a four-year college? We offer both academic and technical classes, many of which can be transferred to a Washington State four-year university or college.

For nearly 60 years, Lake Washington Technical College has been serving the region with high-quality workforce education programs in high-demand fields. Our college features a "hands-on" learning environment, small class sizes and a friendly atmosphere.

Your goal is our goal. Visit our web site at www.lwtc.edu or talk to one of our advisers. I urge you to take that first step towards changing your life. You can do it.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeship combines classroom studies with the on-the-job training supervised by a journey-level craft person or trade professional. Like a college education, it takes several years to become fully trained in the fields that offer apprenticeships.

Industry Certification

The college contributes to a highly-trained workforce with more than 200 day and evening courses per quarter for professional and technical development and industry certification. Some classes meet evenings and weekends.
