Volunteer at our 5th Annual Dinner and Auction-Sailing to Success!

The success of last year’s event was based largely on the group of dedicated volunteers we were fortunate enough to have assisting with all aspects of the evening.  This event is not only our biggest vehicle to raise funds for our continued support of the college but also a celebration of our students and programs.  Be part of the evening by volunteering!

Shifts will be assigned as requested.  Before you sign up, please read over the job descriptions, benefits and requirements of volunteering. We will contact interested volunteers with additional details.

Age Requirements

There are many shifts that are not age dependent, but to volunteer to serve wine or liquor beverages, you must be 21 years old or older and have a server’s certification.  We can provide more details to interested parties.

Check-In

Please check-in before your scheduled shift start time. Volunteers will check in at the registration table at the event.

Attendance

We rely on your presence and showing up for your shift on time. If your availability changes, please contact us immediately.

Volunteer Orientation

All new volunteers are requested to attend a Volunteer Orientation. You will be notified of the details by email or phone. At the meeting you will meet the event staff and Volunteer Coordinator. We will go over event details and get you fully prepared for your shift. If you have not previously volunteered and are unable to attend the orientation, please arrive 15 minutes before your shift to be briefed on event policies.

  • Wine Servers (need 1-2 more volunteers)
  • Greeters (need 1-2 more volunteers)
  • Registration/ Filers (need 2-3 more volunteers)
  • Raffle Tickets/Centerpiece Handler/ExpressPay Distribution (need 4 more volunteers)
  • Silent Auction Closers/Live Auction Runners (need 3-4 more volunteers)
  • Live Auction Display Handlers/Carry Out Helpers (need 2-3 more volunteers)
  • Spotters/Carry Out Helpers (need 2-3 more volunteers)
  • Setup and/or Cleanup (need many more volunteers!)
