The LWTC Worker Retraining program provides valuable educational assistance and career planning to help dislocated and unemployed workers in our community retrain in vocational fields. Students may qualify for financial assistance for tuition, fees and books, and continue to receive unemployment benefits while attending one of Lake Washington Technical College's many occupational programs.

Those who are unemployed and collecting Washington State unemployment benefits, have exhausted unemployment insurance benefits within the past two years, are a displaced homemaker or have closed their own business due to economic downturn may be eligible for the Worker Retraining program.

Please visit the Worker Retraining Web site (a new window will open) for more information.
