The Financial Aid Office is experiencing a tremendous volume of applications at this time. Currently, we are working on summer quarter applications received on or before the summer quarter priority processing deadline of April 15th. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.

Notice!  Due to state and federal award year funding requirements, checks for summer quarter cannot be issued until on or after July 6th.

Need help completing your FAFSA , Free Application for Federal Student Aid? A financial aid advisor can help you apply online. Attend a FAFSA Online Workshop held in the West Building, Room W405, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM on these Wednesdays:

2010-2011 FAFSA (Summer Quarter 2010- Spring Quarter 2011) Bring your 2009 tax return or estimate your earnings for 2009 and if you are a dependent student, you will need your parent's 2009 tax return as well.   If you are not a U.S. citizen, you will also  need your eight or nine digit Alien Registration number.

The primary mission of the Financial Aid Office is to help students seeking financial assistance meet their educational expenses at LWTC. We will strive to treat students and colleagues respectfully, to be consistent and ethical in our procedures and policies and timely in providing services. The Financial Aid Office will work collaboratively with other areas of the college wherever possible to achieve the common goal of furthering student success and helping to achieve the educational mission of LWTC.
