Admission requirements for new F-1 & M-1 applicants and F-1 transfer students

Students applying for the above visas are required to submit:

  • International Student Application (a new window will open)
  • Non-refundable application fee of US $50.00
  • Evidence of enrollment in an approved health plan (or purchase $207 quarterly insurance through LWTC)
  • Proof of financial support on a bank statement in US dollars
  • Affidavit of Support (only required if supported by non-family sponsor)

Engineering Graphics students
  • F-1 VISA Transfer Students: Your current international student adviser must complete and submit the School Transfer Form. (this is a PDF form requiring a signature)

Students with Non-Immigrant Visas:

International tuition is charged to all visa holders except A, E, G, I, K & L visas. Estimated Costs:

  • Application Fee - US $50.00
  • Average tuition and fees for 1 year (3quarters) - US $8,451.00
    (this cost may vary depending on program of study, many courses have additional fees)
    *Quarterly tuition prices subject to change without notice

Deadlines to Apply:

  • Overseas applications are accepted quarterly and should be completed one quarter prior to entering the school.
  • Transfer students need to apply at least one month before the quarter starts.

Come to one ouf our Information Days! Wednesdays are Information Days!

Every Wednesday at 3 pm is an information day. Come to our office in E126 (next to the coffee cart) for information about our programs. This is a good opportunity to talk about transfering from another school, how to apply to LWTC as an international student (or friend of the student), and learn about new short term programs starting in the Spring!
